I sailed at Saunton all day Saturday. 4.5m sail with pretty much onshore wind!! Slight angle meant you could punch out at an angle on port tack (towards the headland). But, the waves were massive out back and just kept on going. i sailed out a long way and still never found the back of the breaking zone. It was perfect for a gybe on the face of a big one and then an 'up the line' wave ride. Indside was flat out blasting in the shallows, dodging the lines of white water.

About 10 windsurfing, 5 kiting, 40 surfing. Good to see so many people doing all sports at the same place without incident.
